Sister Kathleen Purser, GNSH, MA
Sister Kay’s background is in elementary education and working with the elderly. She joined Mobile Meals after serving as an elementary school principal at several schools in New York State and in Atlanta, leading LIFESPAN Resources in Atlanta as executive director of this interfaith program to empower older adults to help one another, and serving on the Leadership group of her congregation, the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart. She became Executive Director of Mobile Meals in January 2010.

Andrea New, Director of Client Services
Ms. New ran a day program for people with developmental disabilities. She and her group delivered meals for Mobile Meals twice a week for four years. With this introduction to Mobile Meals and being both familiar and very supportive of its mission, Ms. New sought employment with Mobile Meals to take a more active role in the organization. She joined Mobile Meals in December 2007.

Michael Schaefer, Director of Volunteers
Having experience in working with volunteers with Caring Hospice Services and Angel’s Wings, a program of Anchor House, Michael brings to Mobile Meals a genuine interest in enabling volunteers to live a fuller life by using their talents and skills in making a difference in the lives of the homebound. Michael joined the Mobile Meals’ staff in December 2008.

Isaac Mims, Courier
Isaac joined the Mobile Meals staff in March 2004 and has been a part-time courier for both meal deliveries and groceries ever since.

Peggy joined the Mobile Meals staff in March 2010 as a part-time courier.
